Position Duties:

Perform static and dynamic structural simulations using solvers such as OptiStruct and Abaqus. Understand modeling methodologies related to structural non-linearities such as contacts and material behavior. Develop alternative design solutions or quick engineering solutions by collaborating with design team to reach assigned targets while maintaining a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization. Perform Random response and Fatigue Analysis, Topology Optimization using OptiStruct, Formability of sheet metals using HyperForm and also assisting in real time testing for Co-relation with CAE results. Participate in design review meetings to provide appropriate recommendations while communicating with team members and customers on all project related matters. Manage and prioritize projects for time efficiency and maintain records of all activities and results in CAE Database.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's Degree or foreign equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field, plus 2 (two) years' experience as a CAE Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or related position is required. Experience must include performing Non-Linear Step Load, Modal, and GAWR Load Analysis using HyperMesh and Abaqus; Optimizing topology of bumpers and automotive components using OptiStruct and Radioss; and applying GD&T to define form and size variations of bumpers and automotive components for OEMs.
